Student pages join Rep. Lehe at the Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (May 15, 2019) – State Rep. Don Lehe (R-Brookston) recently welcomed student pages to the Statehouse.

As House pages, these students toured the governor’s office, the House and Senate chambers, and the Indiana Supreme Court. They also helped staff with their daily tasks and met with Lehe to learn more about the legislative process:

  • Kylan Bogan, from Rossville, attends Rossville Middle School;
  • Nathan Foster, from Monticello, attends Roosevelt Middle School;
  • Jessica Roeske, from Monticello, attends Twin Lakes High School;
  • Emmeline Seest, from Mulberry, attends Rossville Middle School;
  • Lillian Sharp, from Rossville, attends Rossville Middle School;
  • Chase Stetler, from Battle Ground, attends Frontier Jr-Sr High School; and
  • Caleb Wanner, from Rossville, is a homeschooled student.

“The page program gives students an opportunity to learn more about our state government,” Lehe said. “It is always a pleasure meeting young Hoosiers from our community, and I hope to see more take advantage of this learning experience next session.”

Students between the ages of 13 to 18 who are interested in paging during the 2020 session can learn more at Participants receive an excused absence from school and groups can request to page together.

which includes portions of Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Tippecanoe and White counties.
