STATEHOUSE (July 28, 2020) — Hudson Tool Rental of New Castle recently received the Governor’s Half Century Business Award recognizing its longstanding service in the community, according to State Rep. Tom Saunders (R-Lewisville).

"To keep a business afloat for years, let alone decades, is no easy task," Saunders said. "This is an exciting accomplishment for those who worked over the years at Hudson Tool Rental, and they deserve to be recognized. Congratulations to everyone involved in the success of this business."

According to Saunders, Hudson Tool Rental of New Castle was recognized for remaining in continuous operation in Indiana for 51 consecutive years and demonstrating a commitment to serving the community.

The 76 Indiana companies and organizations honored with the Governor’s Century or Half Century Business awards will be invited to participate in the 2021 ceremony, with this year's spring ceremony canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

More than 1,560 Hoosier businesses have been recognized during the award's 29-year history.
