STATEHOUSE (Dec. 29, 2021) – State Rep. Mike Speedy (R-Indianapolis) was recently appointed to serve as chair of the House Environmental Affairs Committee.
Speedy previously served as vice chair of the committee.
"The committee process helps ensure bills are fully vetted and gives Hoosiers the opportunity to testify on different issues impacting their lives," Speedy said. "I look forward to hearing from the public and working with other lawmakers on policies that address environmental issues."
Speedy is also a member of the House Judiciary Committee and House Roads and Transportation Committee.
House standing committees will meet throughout the legislative session, which is set to begin Jan. 4.
