Note to the Press – Please include the following statement from State Rep. Tom Saunders (R-Lewisville) in your coverage of Gov. Eric Holcomb’s call for a special session in May to wrap-up critical issues left over from the 2018 legislative session, which adjourned by law on March 14:

STATEHOUSE (March 22, 2018) – “When the Indiana General Assembly meets in May, we are committed to keeping this session focused and efficient. There are several critical issues to be discussed and will require the legislature to gather and resolve them. Though lawmakers are paid during this period, I will be making a charitable donation to Heaven’s Bread Basket Food Pantry in Lewisville with the additional money I receive during the special session.”

State Rep. Tom Saunders (R-Lewisville) represents House District 54,

which includes Henry County and portions of Rush and Wayne counties.
