STATEHOUSE (Feb. 25, 2019) — State Reps. Cindy Kirchhofer (R-Beech Grove) and Mike Speedy (R-Indianapolis) will host a town hall meeting Saturday, March 9, to discuss the legislative session.

The town hall is open to the public and will start at 10:30 a.m. at the Indianapolis Public Library’s Franklin Road Branch located at 5550 S. Franklin Road.

“Town halls are one of the best places to share opinions and ask questions about legislation,” Kirchhofer said. “There is a lot of work being accomplished at the Statehouse, and anyone interested in learning about potential new laws should stop by.”

Kirchhofer and Speedy will give an update on legislative proposals they are working on and other issues being debated at the Statehouse. They will be joined by State Sen. Aaron Freeman (R-Indianapolis).

“We are halfway through this legislative session,” Speedy said. “As we work to represent our communities at the Statehouse, the feedback we receive helps guide our decisions as we consider proposals for new laws.”

Those unable to attend can still provide input by contacting Kirchhofer or Speedy at 317-232-9600.
