Rep. Ziemke welcomes student pages to the Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 27, 2017) — State Rep. Cindy Ziemke (R-Batesville) recently welcomed the following student pages to the Statehouse:

  • Elizabeth Hyatt, from Greensburg, attends Greensburg Jr. High School; and
  • Chloe Shaw, from Batesville, attends Batesville High School.

Ziemke also hosted a group of Girl Scouts from Connersville. A photo of the group with Ziemke can be found here.

  • Rebekah Barnes, from Connersville, attends Connersville High School;
  • Hannah DeLucio, from Connersville, attends Connersville High School;
  • Hollie Hoffman, from Connersville, attends Connersville High School;
  • Emily Judd, from Connersville, attends Connersville High School;
  • KayLynn Steele, from Connersville, attends Connersville Middle School;
  • Alexis Strunk, from Connersville, attends Connersville High School;
  • Gracelynn Usher, from Connersville, attends Connersville Middle School;
  • Sharon Usher, from Connersville, attends Connersville High School; and
  • Corinne Westerfield, from Connersville, attends Connersville High School.

As House pages, these participants toured government offices, helped staff with daily duties and joined Ziemke on the House floor during the legislative session.

Ziemke said students aged 13-18 should consider participating next session.
