Rep. Ziemke: Greensburg student gaining experience with the legislature

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 11, 2016) – State Rep. Cindy Ziemke (R-Batesville) welcomes Decatur County resident, Joshua Marsh, to the Statehouse where he is interning with the House of Representatives during the 2016 legislative session.

Marsh, a resident of Greensburg, is the son of Tony and Julie Marsh. A Greensburg Community High School graduate, Marsh attended Ball State University where he majored in public relations and marketing. He will be attending the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in the fall.

As a legislative intern, Marsh corresponds with constituents through phone calls, letters and emails. He also helps staff committee hearings and floor proceedings.

The House of Representatives offers paid internship opportunities to college students, law-school students, graduate students and recent college graduates for the duration of each legislative session.

State Rep. Cindy Ziemke (R-Batesville) represents portions of Rush, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley and Decatur counties. She serves as Vice Chair of the Family, Children and Human Affairs Committee. She also serves on the Courts and Criminal Code Committee and the Select Committee on Government Reduction.
