INDIANAPOLIS (Nov. 19, 2015) – Today, House Speaker Brian C. Bosma (R-Indianapolis) announced caucus leadership and committee chairmanship changes for the Indiana House of Representatives.

State Rep. Denny Zent (R-Angola) has been named vice chair of the House Public Health Committee. He has served on the committee since joining the House of Representatives in 2012.

“As someone who has worked in the public health sector, I have a unique perspective on the legislation coming through this committee,” Zent said. “I am grateful for this opportunity, and I am looking forward to working with my fellow committee members in the upcoming session.”

As a dentist for over 35 years, Zent hopes to continue to utilize his expertise to help shape legislation that impacts Hoosier public health.
