STATEHOUSE (Dec. 19, 2016) – State Rep. Donna Schaibley (R-Carmel) will serve on the House Committee on Insurance.
She was also named to the House Committee on Financial Institutions, the House Committee on Courts and Criminal Code and the House Statutory Committee on Interstate and International Cooperation.
“Committees are an integral part of the legislative process,” Schaibley said. “Serving on a diverse set of committees will allow me to provide input on legislation that touches every sector of our local community and state. I promise to work diligently to ensure that we continue moving Indiana in the right direction.”
Standing committee assignments are made biennially after each election. On Jan. 4, House lawmakers will convene at 1:30 p.m. in the House Chamber for the first day of the 2017 legislative session.
