Rep. Negele welcomes student pages to the Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (March 20, 2017) — State Rep. Sharon Negele (R-Attica) recently welcomed the following student pages to the Statehouse:

  • Tyler Amato, from Lafayette, attends McCutcheon High School;
  • Hannah Barnard, from Oxford, attends Benton Central High School;
  • Owen Coon, from Wingate, attends North Montgomery High School;
  • Avery Dawson, from Brookston, attends Tri-County Junior-Senior High School;
  • Ashby Grimes, from West Point, attends McCutcheon High School;
  • Kyle Mellady, from Waynetown, attends Fountain Central Jr/Sr High School;
  • Maverick Sarjent, from Crawfordsville, attends North Montgomery High School;
  • Emily Waling, from Remington, is a homeschooled student;
  • Akasha Woody, from Attica, attends Attica Junior-Senior High School; and
  • Shane Young, from Waynetown, attends North Montgomery High School.

As House pages, these participants toured government offices, helped staff with daily duties and joined Negele on the House floor during the legislative session.

Negele said students aged 13-18 should consider participating next session.
