Rep. Morrison: Vigo County student gaining experience with the legislature

STATEHOUSE (March 2, 2016) – State Rep. Alan Morrison (R-Seelyville) welcomes Vigo County resident, Matthew Guell, to the Statehouse where he is interning with the House of Representatives during the 2016 legislative session.

Guell, a resident of Terre Haute, is the son of Robert and Susan Guell. A Terre Haute North Vigo High School graduate, Guell currently attends Indiana State University where he is majoring in political science and legal studies.

As a legislative intern, Guell corresponds with constituents through phone calls, letters and emails. He also helps staff committee hearings and floor proceedings.

The House of Representatives offers paid internship opportunities to college students, law-school students, graduate students and recent college graduates for the duration of each legislative session.

Rep. Morrison represents all of Vermillion County and portions of Clay, Fountain, Parke, Vigo and Warren counties.
