Rep. Mahan presented Guardian of Small Business Award

STATEHOUSE (March 8, 2019) – State Rep. Kevin Mahan (R-Hartford City) this week at the Statehouse received the National Federation of Independent Business’ Guardian of Small Business Award.

“Small, family-owned businesses are drivers of our local and state economies,” Mahan said. “As a policymaker, I will continue supporting laws that help entrepreneurs grow and succeed.”

The Guardian of Small Business Award is the National Federation of Independent Business’ highest honor, and it is reserved for lawmakers who demonstrate exceptional leadership and consistency in supporting the small business agenda.

The National Federation of Independent Business was founded in 1943, with a mission to promote and protect the right of its members to own, operate and grow their businesses.
