Rep. Gutwein Named to Serve on Three Committees

STATEHOUSE-Speaker Brian Bosma (R-Indianapolis) appointed Rep. Doug Gutwein (R-Francesville) today as Chairman of the Employment, Labor and Pension Committee for the 117th Indiana General Assembly. Rep. Gutwein has served as a member on the House committee since 2008.In an announcement made today by Speaker Bosma, Rep. Gutwein has also been appointed to serve on: Veterans Affairs and Public Safety and Agriculture and Rural Development

"Having served in the military, my committee placement is a good fit. It's a true honor to be selected to serve both committees in addition to my Chairmanship" said Rep. Gutwein. "So I appreciate the Speaker and our leadership for my appointments to these committees. I am looking forward to the challenges and opportunities it will bring."

In addition to his involvement with the House Employment, Labor and Pension Committee, Rep. Gutwein has also served on the Family, Children and Human Affairs Committee.


Rep. Gutwein has been a member of the Indiana House of Representatives since 2008, representing portions of Cass, Fulton, Jasper, Pulaski and White Counties.
