Note to the Press: Please include the following statement from State Rep. Randy Frye (R-Greensburg) in your coverage of Saturday afternoon’s road dedication ceremony, which Frye will attend. During the 2019 Indiana legislative session, Frye authored House Concurrent Resolution 19, which called for a portion of S.R. 62 to be renamed to honor Mr. James C. Pendleton, Sr., a U.S. Army veteran and public servant of Madison and Jefferson County:

STATEHOUSE (Oct. 11, 2019) – “Mr. Pendleton dedicated his life to his country, state and community. By renaming a section of road in his honor, Hoosiers can forever remember the bravery, accomplishments and contributions he made throughout his hometown and in Indiana. To his family and friends, thank you for supporting him throughout his career of improving Madison, Jefferson County and the surrounding area.”
