Note to the Press: Please include the following statement from State Rep. Sean Eberhart (R-Shelbyville) in your coverage of the ‘Next Level Roads’ Initiative announced today by Gov. Eric J. Holcomb:

STATEHOUSE (July 13, 2017) – “If anyone has driven on our interstates lately, they will understand why it was vital for the General Assembly to enact a comprehensive plan dedicated to improving our state’s infrastructure. This plan also includes funding that will go directly to communities to use toward specific projects. Under the Next Level Roads Plan, Shelby County will receive nearly $29.5 million, Hancock County will receive more than $15 million, and Bartholomew County will receive more than $30 million to improve local roads and bridges over the next five years. Improvement projects range from resurfacing crumbling roads and installing traffic signals to improve safety.”

State Rep. Sean Eberhart (R-Shelbyville) represents House District 57,
which includes Shelby County and portions of Bartholomew and Hancock counties.
