STATEHOUSE (Jan. 4, 2018) — Applications are open for students interested in participating in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2018 legislative session, according to State Rep. Tony Cook (R-Cicero).

Pages have an opportunity to join Cook during the legislative session and tour the governor’s office, the Indiana Supreme Court, and the House and Senate chambers.

“This exciting opportunity provides students a chance to see the lawmaking process in action during session,” Cook said. “Pages will gain experience working alongside legislators and staff as they perform age-appropriate tasks. I highly recommend students apply as soon as possible.”

To be a page, applicants should be between the ages of 13 and 18. Cook said student pages receive an excused absence from school and groups can sign up to participate together.

The 2018 legislative session began Wednesday, Jan. 3, and must conclude by March 14. Cook said page positions fill quickly and encouraged participants to apply early online at or by calling 800-382-9841.

State Rep. Tony Cook (R-Cicero) represents House District 32, which includes all of Tipton County and portions of Hamilton, Madison, Delaware, Howard and Grant counties.
