STATEHOUSE— “It is hard to believe the 2012 legislative session has come to a close. This session focused on getting Hoosiers back to work. The legislation we passed strengthens Indiana’s job climate, continuing to make our State attractive to employers to get Hoosiers back to work.
“Hoosiers will see meaningful taxpayer refunds through improvements made to the Automatic Taxpayer Refund. Not only did we work to give taxpayers refunds, we worked hard to provide funding for early education, protect students from unwanted bus fees and extend the application time for grants available for those active duty military and their families. After finishing my first term as state representative, I think we passed policy these past two years that continues to take steps forward and sets Indiana up for success.”
