STATEHOUSE – “It was just ten weeks ago that we kicked off the 2014 legislative session with the unveiling of the House Republican agenda. Our goals were lofty, but in the end, this session was a resounding success.

“I am particularly proud of our work to put a stop to burdensome regulations which restrict the free market. The general public has become increasingly skeptic of the government’s ability to deliver services competently and cost-effectively. I share that same skepticism and strongly believe that the government’s role is only to do that which cannot be accomplished more efficiently through the private sector. House Bill (HB) 1005 builds upon the work that we have done in the past to eliminate duplicative code, red tape and layers of bureaucracy, thus securing more freedom and liberty for Hoosiers.”
