The General Assembly hosted more than 100 FFA members at the Statehouse. They took a tour, met key leadership and participated in both the House and Senate Page Programs, allowing them to get a first-hand look at the legislative process.
“FFA fosters the leadership and life skills in our students to promote a better tomorrow for our state,” said Rep. Saunders. “In talking with these young men and women, I have been nothing but impressed with their enthusiasm and talent. They set a great example for the kind of integrity that we hope for all of our Hoosier students to poses.”
Cody Dawson, Jordan Linville, and Joe Wicker paged for Rep. Saunders and had the opportunity to work closely with him and his colleagues.
Indiana’s National FFA Organization chapters contribute to many communities in Indiana. They raise more than $600,000 annually to support student leadership activities, career development events and scholarships.
