STATEHOUSE—“Short sessions are hectic; we are given ten weeks to get all of the state’s business complete and it is always over before you know it. Using the time as best as we can, we focus on the goal of making Indiana a better place to work and live. This year, like many before, we rose to the occasion and accomplished our goal.

“We were able to – for the first time in Indiana’s history – fund every five year old full-day kindergarten, eliminate the state’s hindering Inheritance Tax and provide further relief to the victims of last summer’s State Fair stage collapse, to name a few.”
