"I am truly honored to be named chair of this committee," said Rep. Dodge. "This committee will deal with ways to improve lake issues all throughout the state of Indiana and it is something that I have personally taken a great interest in."
Every year after the legislative session is completed; the Legislative Council meets to assign topics to study during the interim. They also establish new interim committees that examine specific issues.

The Health Finance Commission is charged with studying the following:
The Indiana Lake Management Work Group is charged with studying the following:
. Approve projects and recommend to the division the projects to receive certain funds.
Rep. Dodge serves as the Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Natural Resources and was also appointed to serve on the Health Finance Commission during the interim.
"I am looking forward to getting the committees started and developing solutions for all Hoosiers," said Rep. Dodge. "These committees allow time to thoroughly discuss and understand topics that will most likely be brought up during the legislative session."
Most interim committees will begin meeting in July with their work concluding toward the end of October.
