"I am truly honored to have received this award," said Rep. Dodge. "I am constantly working to find ways to preserve and promote the conservation of Indiana's natural resources."
This past session, Rep. Dodge introduced legislation that was supported by IWF to restrict the use of phosphorus lawn fertilizer. The legislation would require retailers to display educational materials explaining the connection between fertilizer containing phosphorus and water quality.
Rep. Dodge serves as the Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Natural Resources and is an active member of the Lake Management Work Group. As part of this group, he strives towards developing solutions for problems affecting Indiana lakes.
"I have made it one of my missions to protect and find creative solutions that conserve natural resources in District 51 as well as the entire state of Indiana ," said Rep. Dodge. "I am humbled to receive this honor. I am encouraged by this and look forward to continue dedicating my time to this important issue."
