STATEHOUSE – “Each session, state lawmakers have the opportunity to make our community and state a better place to live, work and raise a family. The House Republicans focused on five main priorities to make Indiana stronger, and I’m proud to say we delivered on every one. We focused on promoting preschool education for low-income families, building on our workforce development efforts, limiting the tax burden on Hoosiers, strengthening Indiana’s transportation system and cutting red tape for businesses. By addressing these areas, not only did we work to improve communities in West Central Indiana but across the state as well.

“I was particularly pleased that House Bill 1005 passed which removes many burdensome regulations, streamlines the Indiana Code and increases government efficiency. We need to lead by example and continue to look for new ways to make government more efficient. One way we are doing that is by removing these unnecessary provisions that can be costly and time consuming for businesses and Hoosiers alike.”
