(STATEHOUSE) Dec. 21, 2007 - "I would like to thank the BMV for implementing ideas that I drafted last session and agreed not file with the understanding the BMV would do these administratively.
"The new BMV has been very willing to take ideas that my constituents have told me would make the operation more efficient and include them in their continued effort to make the BMV more user friendly.
"Online discounts only make sense and give the pubic an incentive for taking advantage of online services. Call ahead appointments allow individuals the opportunity to schedule an appointment that best fits their individual schedules.
"I applaud Commissioner Ron Stiver and his entire BMV staff for putting current retail business practices in place to minimize the time Hoosiers spend in the BMV."
