STATEHOUSE — State Rep. Eric Turner (R-Cicero) is pleased to announce a job fair coming to Noblesville on Oct. 2. The job fair will be held at the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds on Pleasant St. from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Hosted by the Mayor of Noblesville, John Ditslear, the job fair is free to attend and will provide many free resources for job-seekers.
“Helping Hoosiers get back to work is a top priority of mine,” said Rep. Turner. “Employers attending the job fair are eager to hire qualified Hoosiers, and with the variety of companies attending the job fair, job-seekers have the opportunity to showcase how they can add value to a prospective company.”
More than 80 employers are expected to attend the job fair, and each company has positions available for permanent and/or seasonal work. The companies serve a vast array of industries with careers in the automotive, manufacturing and food service sectors, to the education and medical fields. Some of the companies that will be attending include Advance Auto Parts, Diamond Foods, Carmel Clay School Corporation, Chrysler Group and LLC, Farmers Agency Point to name a few.

In addition to connecting job-seekers with employers, WorkOne will provide job-related resources through multiple breakout sessions. These sessions will offer résumé building advice, interviewing tips, assist with job exploration and provide midlife job search strategies. The breakout sessions will take place at the following times:
• 10:15 – 11 a.m.: Employer-Focused Resumes
“This will be a wonderful opportunity for anyone in our community who is looking for a job or would like to learn more about job placement strategies,” said Rep. Turner. “This event is a great tool for hard working and driven Hoosiers to find their next employment opportunity.”
