[r24] Rep. McClain responds to his last Sine Die with the Indiana House of Representatives (3/10/2012)

Start Date: 3/10/2012
End Date: 3/10/2012

STATEHOUSE— “As I casted my last vote and adjourned Sine Die my last legislative session, I quickly realized how wonderful the past 18 years serving constituents of House District 24 and the State of Indiana has been. My last session was nothing short of exciting. Although we had a few hiccups, we were able to come together for the sake of all Hoosiers.

“One of the more important pieces of legislation I think people will be happy about is the legislation to enhance the Automatic Taxpayer Refund to give Hoosiers a break – or even a greater return – on their taxes next year. Additionally, the legislation will provide further compensation to victims and their families from last summer’s Indiana State Fair stage collapse and provide funding for full-day kindergarten throughout the state.

“Thank you to everyone that I’ve had the opportunity to serve and to serve with for giving me the opportunity to do what I love—make a great state even better. I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity.”
