The EDGE awards are hosted by the Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) and were presented today by Lt. Governor Ellspermann at the Indiana Statehouse. These awards recognized 10 emerging and 10 established ISBDC client small businesses from across the state.
My Sugar Pie, located in Zionsville, was among the select group of small businesses throughout the state honored with the distinct award.
“I am so pleased to see My Sugar Pie honored with an EDGE award for their excellent service in our community,” said Rep. Braun. “Not only are they greatly contributing to the economic success of Zionsville, but they also make a truly great pie. That is something my family and I can personally attest to.”
My Sugar Pie is an established business in Boone County which offers over 40 different homemade pie flavors. Pies are available at their 40 East Pine Street location, the Cobblestone Grill in Zionsville as well as at St. Elmo’s Steak House and Harry and Izzy’s.
The EDGE awards are presented to emerging or established businesses that have a positive and measurable impact on the formation, growth and sustainability of small businesses in Indiana.
“It is small businesses like My Sugar Pie that create the backbone of the Hoosier economy,” said Rep. Braun. “This acknowledgment is highly deserved, and I am proud to have this nationally recognized business call Zionsville home.”
