STATEHOUSE (June 24, 2016) — State Rep. John Price (R-Bargersville) will be serving on the Military Base Planning Council this summer.

In preparation for the 2017 legislative session, which begins in January, council members meet to examine assigned topics, gather testimonies and identify potential legislation.

“As a member of this council, I will join other lawmakers in studying topics relating to the operation of our military bases,” Price said. “In the past, this council studied topics ranging from Department of Defense contracting to alternative fuels for the military.”

Price said committee calendars and meeting agendas can be viewed online at

Rep. Price represents portions of Johnson and Morgan counties.
