STATEHOUSE (March 9, 2016) – State Rep. Kathy Richardson (R-Noblesville) today welcomed evangelist and Noblesville resident, Clayton Jennings, to the Statehouse where he led House members in prayer.
“Clayton’s prayer was very moving and powerful,” Richardson said. “As public servants, taking a moment to clear our heads and asking for spiritual guidance helps us tackle the duties set before us each day with honor and dignity. I appreciate Clayton coming to the Statehouse and providing inspiration.”
Clayton is a Noblesville High School graduate who also earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. He is now leading the #TellTheWorld movement and traveling around the globe ministering.
His wife, Jamie Jennings, his mother-in-law, Charlotte Holt, and his mother, Lisa Jennings, joined him at the Statehouse.
Indiana lawmakers invite guests of various religious backgrounds to offer words of encouragement in prayer before the convening of session. Richardson said those who would like to participate can contact her legislative office at (317) 234-9380 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
