Negele: $3M awarded for broadband expansion in Benton County

Note to the Press – Please include the following statement from State Rep. Sharon Negele (R-Attica) in your coverage of Gov. Eric Holcomb’s announcement of an additional $6.3 million in funding for broadband expansion projects across the state. Locally, this funding will serve nearly 3,000 households and businesses throughout Benton County.

STATEHOUSE (Nov. 21, 2019) – “Fast and reliable internet has become a critical part of our daily lives. What once was considered a luxury is now necessary for education, business and even public safety. I am thrilled to see an investment of this size being made in our community to improve the lives of residents, and look forward to continued progress.”
