Note to the Press: Please include the following statement from State Rep. Kevin Mahan (R-Hartford City) in your coverage of the Next Level Roads Plan announced today by Gov. Eric Holcomb:

STATEHOUSE (July 13, 2017) — “More than 500 miles of road lanes will be resurfaced in our area, and we can complete other projects including maintaining and replacing bridges and correcting curves to keep motorists safe. Thanks to this critical state funding, we will make a tremendous investment in our local communities, which will serve as a boon for our overall economy. These much-needed infrastructure improvements will help ensure Indiana remains the Crossroads of America without creating debt and placing the financial burden on future generations.”

Local County Funding:

Blackford County: $8,862,793

Delaware County: $67,362,572

Grant County: $46,393,681

Wells County: $8,573,594
