STATEHOUSE (March 10, 2017) – A local graduate is gaining experience as an intern with State Rep. Cindy Kirchhofer (R-Beech Grove) and her fellow members of the House of Representatives during the 2017 legislative session.
Bridget Campbell, a resident of Indianapolis, is the daughter of Clarke and Beth Campbell. A Herron High School graduate, Campbell attended Ball State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree and majored in telecommunications with a concentration in digital video production.
As an intern in the House Majority Communications Office, Campbell helps write press releases, create legislative handouts, post on social media and work on video projects.
“As students from our community become more engaged and involved in the legislative process, it inspires younger generations to learn more as well,” Kirchhofer said. “Interns also learn valuable skills to help prepare them for the workforce.”
The House of Representatives offers paid internship opportunities to college students, law-school students, graduate students and recent college graduates for the duration of each legislative session.

Rep. Kirchhofer (R-Beech Grove) represents House District 89,
