STATEHOUSE (Feb. 15, 2018) — State Reps. Cindy Kirchhofer (R-Beech Grove) and Mike Speedy (R-Indianapolis) will host a town hall meeting Saturday, Feb. 24, to discuss the current legislative session.

The town hall is open to the public and will start at 10:30 a.m. at the Indianapolis Public Library – Franklin Road Branch located at 5550 S. Franklin Road in Indianapolis.

“This is a great opportunity to share your thoughts on issues facing our area of the state,” Kirchhofer said. “I encourage community members to stop by, ask questions and catch up on the work being done at the Statehouse.”

Kirchhofer and Speedy will give an update on legislative proposals they are working on and other issues being debated at the Statehouse.

“Town halls are one of the best ways to get involved in the legislative process,” Speedy said. “We just passed the halfway point of this legislative session, and there are still many bills being considered every day to improve the Hoosier state. We’ll also be joined by State Sen. Aaron Freeman (R-Indianapolis), who will provide an update on bills moving through the Senate.”

Those unable to attend can contact Kirchhofer or Speedy by calling 317-232-9600 to provide feedback on any proposals being considered for new laws.
