Indiana House Republicans launch new website

STATEHOUSE — Speaker of the Indiana House of Representatives Brian C. Bosma (R-Indianapolis) announced the launch of the Indiana House Republicans new website,

The House Republican Caucus website features a new, user-friendly layout that automatically adapts to mobile devices and tablets.  The website also allows the public to download legislator contact information, photos and publications.

Some of the website’s features include:

·         The Caucus – Visitors can learn detailed information about their state representative, read media releases and view photos of legislative activities at the Statehouse. Contact information and downloadable legislator headshots are also available.

·         Constituent Resources – Users have access to a variety of resources, like maps of the Indiana Statehouse, a General Assembly calendar and resources for state assistance. Constituents can also enter in their address and find contact information for their elected officials.

·         Subscribe to eNews – By providing a valid email address, visitors can subscribe to electronic newsletters distributed by the caucus or selected representatives.

·         Student Opportunities – Information is available for students on how to intern or page at the Statehouse. There are also links to free downloads, such as a guide to Indiana state government and a coloring booklet.

“It is important for us to build upon the transparency initiatives our caucus has championed over the years,” said Speaker Bosma. “Our hope is that this new website will better serve the public and encourage constituents to become more engaged with the legislative process.”
