STATEHOUSE (May 22, 2019) – State Rep. Douglas Gutwein (R-Francesville) recently met with local students who served as pages at the Statehouse.
“It’s always nice to see students from our community down at the Statehouse,” Gutwein said. “The page program is a great opportunity for young Hoosiers to learn more about our state government and how they can get involved. I hope to see more students from our area participate next year.”
As House pages, these students toured the Statehouse, helped staff with daily tasks and met with Gutwein to learn more about the legislative process:
Students between the ages of 13 to 18 who are interested in paging during the 2020 session can learn more at www.indianahouserepublicans.com/pageprogram. Participants receive an excused absence from school and groups can request to page together.
State Rep. Douglas Gutwein (R-Francesville) represents House District 16, which
includes all of Pulaski County and portions of Fulton, Jasper, Newton and Starke counties.
