Ellington responds to announcement of new hypersonics facility at Crane

Note to the Press: Please include the following statement from State Rep. Jeff Ellington (R-Bloomington) in your coverage of Gov. Eric Holcomb's announcement that the U.S. Department of Defense is establishing its Joint Hypersonics Transition Office Systems Engineering Field Activity at Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division in southern Indiana for research and development and testing of hypersonic technologies:

STATEHOUSE (Oct. 16, 2020) — "The establishment of this facility is yet another example of Indiana's focus on making itself one of the premiere hubs for research and development in national security. It's exciting to see growth like this at NSWC Crane as they leverage their capabilities and talents to help lead the way on some of the evolving technology in the country's defense infrastructure."
