Ellington reappointed vice chair of House Natural Resources Committee

STATEHOUSE (Dec. 10, 2018) — State Rep. Jeff Ellington (R-Bloomington) was recently reappointed vice chair of the House Natural Resources Committee.

“It’s our duty to work with state agencies to ensure our natural resources are protected for future generations,” Ellington said. “We will engage in meaningful discussions with the goal to preserve Indiana’s wildlife and forests.”

Ellington was also reappointed to serve on the House Financial Institutions Committee and the House Local Government Committee.

Standing committee assignments are made biennially after each election. House lawmakers will convene at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 3 in the House Chamber for the first day of the 2019 legislative session.
