STATEHOUSE (Dec. 16, 2016) — State Rep. Wes Culver (R-Goshen) was recently reappointed to serve as chair of the House Statutory Committee on Interstate and International Cooperation.
“As members of a part-time assembly, Hoosier legislators bring a vast amount of experience and personal expertise to the Statehouse each session,” Culver said. “As chair of the House Statutory Committee on Interstate and International Cooperation, I am looking forward to advancing policies that help Hoosier businesses compete on both the national and global stage. One of my other top priorities this session will be ensuring Indiana has a comprehensive and sustainable road funding plan that will keep our economy moving forward for generations to come.”
Standing committee assignments are made biennially after each election. On Jan. 4, House lawmakers will convene at 1:30 p.m. in the House Chamber for the first day of the 2017 legislative session.
