Note to the Press: Please include the following statement from State Rep. Tony Cook (R-Cicero) in your coverage of the ‘Next Level Roads’ Initiative announced today by Gov. Eric J. Holcomb:

STATEHOUSE (July 13, 2017) – “In the next five years, our communities will receive over $216 million to improve local roads and bridges and finish current projects thanks to a responsible funding plan approved by the legislature this session. This much-needed investment will improve our roadways, which help drive our local economy forward. Over the next five years, there will be construction zones and slower traffic — please drive safely out there.”
