STATEHOUSE (Nov. 10, 2016) — “A top priority this session is responsibly expanding the pre-K pilot program across our state,” State Rep. Tony Cook (R-Cicero) said. “I am looking forward to exploring effective educational opportunities that will help our Hoosier children develop and learn.
“This coming session, we will also focus on continued fiscal integrity, creating a long-term infrastructure funding plan, and incentivizing small businesses to grow their operations here in Indiana so they can hire more Hoosiers.
“I hope to encourage more grant funding opportunities be made available for small towns to improve quality of place amenities to foster growth and business relocation. I also hope to boost funding to schools with more money targeted to classroom instruction and teachers. I will continue to work to improve services, benefits and management for veterans, mental health, the aged, and the indigent. A fiscally prudent management of the state’s next two-year budget is also a priority.”
State Rep. Tony Cook (R-Cicero) represents House District 32, which includes all of Tipton County and portions of Hamilton, Madison, Delaware, Howard and Grant counties.
