STATEHOUSE — State Representative Cindy Kirchhofer (R-Beech Grove) is presenting House Bill (HB) 1007, Domestic Violence Prevention and Treatment, to the Family, Children and Human Affairs Committee on Wednesday, January 4 at 8:30 a.m. in room 156-A of the Indiana Statehouse. HB 1007 was coauthored by State Representative Julie Olthoff (R-Crown Point) and Chairman David Frizzell (R-Indianapolis).
“This bill is an exciting step forward for ending domestic violence in Indiana,” said Rep. Kirchhofer. “I am looking forward to presenting this piece of legislation to the House Family, Children and Human Affairs Committee as well as hearing testimony from experts who know what these shelters need most.”
