Note to the Press – Please include the following statement from House Speaker Brian C. Bosma (R-Indianapolis) in your coverage of today’s announcement by Gov. Eric Holcomb and U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar that the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services extended Indiana’s Healthy Indiana Plan 2.0 authorization for three years:

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 2, 2018) — “This waiver extension of the Healthy Indiana Plan is tremendous news for the over 400,000 low-income Hoosiers served by our consumer-driven program. Indiana is a national model for how states can support better health outcomes while encouraging personal responsibility and reducing costs. With this waiver from the federal government, we will also have an opportunity to expand critical addiction treatment options and our efforts to help Hoosiers find employment.”
