Bosma responds to House passage of GOP road funding plan

Note to the Press: Please include the following statement from House Speaker Brian C. Bosma (R-Indianapolis) in your coverage of today’s House passage of House Bill 1001:

INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 2, 2016) – “House Republicans worked diligently to develop and pass a comprehensive road funding package, which spurs economic growth and is fiscally responsible,” Bosma said. “In fact, the addition of a personal income tax cut in the bill means this proposal would be revenue neutral once fully implemented. The plan addresses immediate state and local funding needs while providing for long-term sustainability. We are encouraged by the bill’s support, especially as the measure heads to the Senate for consideration."
