Bosma provides update on condition of State Rep. Tim Brown

STATEHOUSE (Sept. 13, 2018) – House Speaker Brian C. Bosma (R-Indianapolis) released the following update in coordination with State Rep. Tim Brown’s (R-Crawfordsville) family regarding Brown’s condition after his involvement in a motorcycle crash on Wednesday in Michigan:

“Tim remains in critical but stable condition. The next few days are going to be very important. Tim’s wife, Jane, and his daughters are with him, and he is receiving extraordinary care. The family is overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and prayers for Tim’s quick recovery. Please continue to pray for him, his family, Representative Speedy and all those involved. I also ask that we all continue to respect the family’s privacy during this challenging time.”


State Rep. Tim Brown (R-Crawfordsville) was involved in a serious motorcycle crash near the Mackinac Bridge in Michigan on Wednesday, Sept. 12. State Rep. Mike Speedy (R-Indianapolis) was traveling with Brown on their motorcycles, but Speedy avoided the accident. Brown remains hospitalized in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Brown serves as chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee and represents House District 41. He is also a retired emergency room physician.

House District 88, which includes portions of Marion, Hamilton and Hancock counties.
