STATEHOUSE (April 7, 2020) – State Rep. David Abbott (R-Rome City) recently welcomed local students to the Statehouse where they served as pages during the 2020 legislative session:

Through the Indiana House Page Program, these students toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, helped staff with daily responsibilities and joined Abbott on the House floor to witness the legislative process.

“Welcoming pages to the Statehouse is always a pleasure,” Abbott said. “I enjoy talking with young leaders from our area, and the interactions are always very insightful and meaningful.”

Abbott said while this year’s page program has concluded, students between the ages of 13 and 18 should consider participating in 2021.
