My LegislationWelcome to my website and thank you for taking the time to visit. It is a privilege to serve as a state legislator for House District 13, which includes portions of Benton, Fountain, Jasper, Montgomery, Newton, Tippecanoe, Warren and White counties.

State Representative Sharon Negele (R-Attica) grew up in the eastern suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. She earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from Western Michigan University in 1982 and her Masters of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in finance from the University of Houston in 1990. In 1996, Rep. Negele and her husband moved to Attica, Indiana, to raise their family.
Rep. Negele has considerable experience in both the private and public sector. She spent 14 years working in corporate finance for energy and telecommunications companies, 20 years as a small-business owner of Wolf's Homemade Candies, three years as a grant writer/administrator, and nine years as a Clerk-Treasurer for the City of Attica. She has also served four terms as an Indiana State Representative for west central Indiana.
Rep. Negele has been married for 35 years to her husband, Dennis McIntosh. Their son, Doyle, is a graduate of Ball State University who is currently a captain in the U.S. Air Force and stationed in Wichita Falls, Texas, with his wife Kristen Kolar McIntosh and son Owen Doyle McIntosh. Their daughter, Jessica, is a graduate of Ball State University and a sales manager for a wine distributor in Houston, Texas, with her husband, Tom Harrison.
Rep. Negele enjoys snow skiing and boating with her family. She is also an avid fan of multisport exercise.
