STATEHOUSE (Jan. 15, 2020) – The House Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee voted unanimously to approve State Rep. Mayfield’s (R-Martinsville) legislation making school resource officers eligible for special death benefits like those of police officers killed in the line of duty.

Stutzman leads recognition for Boys and Girls Clubs of Elkhart County

STATEHOUSE (Jan. 15, 2020) – State Rep. Christy Stutzman (R-Middlebury) recently recognized the Boys and Girls Clubs of Elkhart County in the House Chamber for the organization’s steadfast commitment to serving local youth for more than 60 years.

The first Boys and Girls Club in Elkhart County opened in Goshen in 1956. Today, four clubhouses serve more than 1,500 young Hoosiers daily and have approximately 5,500 registered members.
