Kirchhofer: New resources available to support Hoosier moms, newborns

STATEHOUSE (July 15, 2020) – To help lower Indiana's high maternal and infant mortality rates, State Rep. Cindy Kirchhofer (R-Beech Grove) said there are new resources available for Hoosier moms and their newborns.

STATEHOUSE (July 15, 2020) – With many new laws effective this month, State Rep. Dale DeVon (R-Granger) said several important changes support Hoosier teachers, students and patients.

"Through listening and talking with constituents, I know that lowering the costs of health care, and supporting our students and educators are top priorities," DeVon said. "That's why I supported legislation to better protects patients and increase transparency in health care pricing. While there is more work ahead on this issue, we made some great progress. We also made changes in education to help retain and attract more teachers to our classrooms, and support our schools who made the transition from ISTEP to ILEARN."
