Greetings, and welcome to my website. I am honored to represent portions of Johnson and Morgan counties in the 47th District of the Indiana House of Representatives.

Prior to John's service to Johnson County, he served in the United States Army for six years as a Staff Sergeant. He then went on to serve as the Director of Highway and Engineering and Fleet Management Director.  John has served as Chairman of the Johnson County Board of Commissions for 4 years, the Johnson County Council and the White River Advisory Board for a total of 14 years, and has also served as Chairman of the Johnson County Republican Party. John is the President of JLP Enterprises and Irrigation Solutions as well as a Chief Deputy with the Sheriff's Department with 20 years of service. John and his wife, Mary, have 4 children and 3 grandchildren and are active members of the Greenwood Christian Church. 

House District 47 includes portions of Johnson and Morgan counties in central Indiana.
