Representative Jeff Ellington is a long-time resident of Bloomington and has always had an interest in making his community a better place. The district he represents includes most of Greene County and portions of Monroe, Martin and Daviess counties.

For more than 35 years, Rep. Ellington has been a vital part of his community through the ownership of his small business and he now looks to apply his experience in helping Indiana cut government waste and save taxpayer revenue. Additionally, he will work to reduce government regulation and continue creating a more business-friendly atmosphere in Indiana.

He was also a member of the Monroe County Council  as well as the former Monroe County Recorder. Rep. Ellington is a husband and father of two children. He also serves as a rescue technician for his local fire department. 

House District 62 is made up of the majority of Greene County and portions of Monroe, Martin and Daviess counties in south western Indiana.
